We are so excited to be meeting again! Please see below for some of the most common questions we receive regarding the reopening of our church facility.
What are your service times?
We have three Sunday morning services at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30am, as well as a Sunday evening prayer service at 6:00pm. We also have a Wednesday night service at 7:00pm.
Do you offer children's ministry?
Yes! Our children's ministry is now open for all ages. We offer children's ministry for both our Wednesday evening and Sunday morning services!
Do you allow children in the sanctuary?
Yes, children are allowed in the sanctuary! We also have overflow areas if parents would prefer not to sit in the main sanctuary.
Do you offer services for youth?
Yes! Both our high school and middle school groups meet on Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Sunday mornings during the 10am & 11:30am service.
How do you handle social distancing?
We encourage a healthy distance between family and/or household groups before and after service to minimize the spread of any virus.
Are masks required to attend service?
Due to current restrictions in the state of Virginia, face masks are required in public gatherings. However, they may be removed for “religious rituals” such as taking part in communion, singing in worship, etc. If wearing a mask is a health concern for you, Virginia has stated that you are not required to wear one. The staff and leadership of CCL will not be making inquiry into the individual’s medical decision to wear or not wear a mask. Thank you for your understanding and love for one another!
What about sanitation?
We have a group of servants who regularly clean our church building throughout the week, as well as sanitize frequently contacted surfaces between each service. In addition to this, hand sanitizing stations are located in our lobby area.
When do I know if I should stay home?
You should stay home if any of the below statements are true of you:
- You are experiencing fever or flu-like symptoms.
- You have had close contact in the last 14 days with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
- You have a compromised immune system.
For more information, you can visit the CDC's website by clicking here
Do you still offer online services?
Yes! For any who are not yet ready to attend in person, we will continue to stream each of our services to our Livestream and Facebook pages. Equip FM will also air the 11:30am service.
