Jeremy Grafman

Jeremy Grafman

Growing up – Jeremy spent time in MD, Pennsylvania, and Upstate NY.  He came to faith at 16 years old – in a small country church in MD where a friend’s father was pastoring.  It wasn’t until years later that the truth of God’s Word powerfully gripped his heart and radically changed his life and walk.  He married Angie while they both lived in Rochester, NY in 1989.
After they followed to Lord’s leading in moving to New Mexico to start a business that they ran for 12 years – Jeremy had the privilege of serving on staff at Calvary Chapel Rio Rancho in New Mexico.  He spent the last 14 years leading field ministry efforts for The Joshua Fund, primarily among Jewish and Arab followers of Jesus in Israel.  He began serving on staff here in the fall of 2021, and is helping to lead our ‘LAUNCH’ discipleship efforts as well as directing our Missions outreach and response to the opportunities the Lord sets before our fellowship. Jeremy & Angie have 4 grown sons, 3 of which still live in Lynchburg.  Their oldest son serves alongside pastor Tyler Warner – at Calvary Chapel Trussville, Alabama.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
This has been a theme in our lives since Angie and I first met – and in fact, our very meeting and being drawn together was a demonstration of the Lord’s faithfulness in this promise.  By His grace we’ve cultivated that continued urging to set the Lord first in all things.  He has proven Himself so very faithful in this time and time again, we have always been blessed with whatever we have needed – as we sought (first) to continue in lives of faithful, fruitful service to Jesus!

What are some of your hobbies?

I really love to fish (and hunt a bit) as time allows.  Angie and I have been blessed with the privilege of traveling to some truly wonderful places in our service to the Lord.  We have dearly loved being able to meet with and encourage the saints in other countries together!  Meaningful time spent with the saints (from any country) is preeminent in our hearts!
