Daniel grew up in Sandia Park, New Mexico (just outside of Albuquerque). He came to faith in Christ as a sophomore in high school at a youth group snowboarding retreat. During college, he began to serve the Lord in earnest, investing his time and attention to the same youth group he was saved in and the worship team. In 2011, he had the privilege of coming on staff at Calvary Rio Rancho as the worship leader. At the very end of 2015, the Lord called Daniel and his wife Megan to move to Lynchburg where they immediately began attending Calvary Chapel Lynchburg. He has been serving on staff leading the high school ministry since June of 2018.
Favorite Bible Verse?
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
What an amazing promise we have here! This verse has seen me and Megan through both high and low points in our lives. If we’re walking before the Lord uprightly, seeking His face, and drawing close to Him, we have the promise that the Lord doesn’t withhold good from us. This doesn’t mean we don’t experience trials, hardship, or tragedy; but it does mean that we can trust that the Lord’s goodness will be brought forth in our lives no matter what happens.
