CCL offers many local Mission Outreach opportunities such as our Assisted Living Ministry. Our vision and hope in serving Residents of Assisted Living Facilities is to proclaim/reaffirm the Gospel of Christ. We seek to encourage facility residents through group/individual prayer, musical worship, through the bible verse-by-verse teaching/preaching and by sharing out the love of Christ through investment in relationships. In short, we seek to instruct and the building up of the body of Christ (Eph. 4:12) and to help all finish their race well (2 Tim. 4:7-8).

Currently we serve two facilities (The Summit and Heritage Green) through two weekly types of service:

Sunday Outreach: Our Sunday Service at both facilities is similar to our CCL Saturday/Sunday service. These services incorporate prayer; praise and verse-by-verse scripture based teaching (as well as fellowship and individual prayer (as desired) before, during and after each service). Ministry meeting times are Sundays between 3 and 4 pm for The Summit and between 2 and 3 pm for Heritage Green.

Midweek Outreach: Currently we only offer a midweek outreach at The Summit and it’s held on Tuesdays between 1:30 and 2:30 pm. The midweek outreach is a “small group” type gathering designed to promote fellowship, prayer, praise and scriptural based teaching (using short devotions built on scripture). Much of the midweek emphasis is on sharing God’s Love through fellowship, “hearing” what the residents have to say, and working to understand what’s going on in their world as we offer the consolation of Christ by His Spirit.

We continue to pray that the Lord would send additional teachers, worship leaders and helpers who would serve to invest their talents and help grow this ministry to meet the needs of the elderly and facility staff. 

Who can serve?

Any Christian serving in Christ; who knows, understands and in agreement with the doctrinal teachings of CCL! All those serving should have completed or be in the process of completing the CCL Connection Class. We are always in need of teachers; worship leaders (singers/musicians) and patient/compassionate helpers who enjoy interacting with the elderly.
